December 19, 2009 18:00 - Indymedia Centre and dispatch is now closed. A big thankyou to everyone who called in reports, published material, made radio and video, and who participated in the running of the media centre and reporting effort. "Don't hate the media - Become the media!"

December 19, 2009 02:00 - Reports of around 50 people making a noisy protest at the entrance to #cop15 Bella centre inside secirity cordon. Some are holding pictures of Obama with "Climate Shame" printed across his forehead and the crowd is chanting "Climate Justice Now!" #badcop

December 18, 2009 17:40 - the demo has now wrapped up. finsished with some rousing speachs. The speakers restated demands for 'climate justice now', and that 'reppression will not stop us'

December 18, 2009 17:05 - speaches are now happening at hopenhagen. rousing speachs, including one from Stines mother, and a song. the speaches about how this is the beggining of facism.

December 18, 2009 16:20 - the speakers have just upped the numbers at the demo to 1500. still lots of chanting and general good vibes.

December 18, 2009 16:10 - more speaches - it is rekoned that there are one thousand people on the demo

December 18, 2009 15:50 - the solidarity demo is now underway. announcements from the stage say that 16 people are still locked up, and that this demo is to demand their release and also to show the people of copenhagen that 'we will not tolerate this repression'.
A group from the klima forum have also joined up with the main demo.

The atmosphere is chilled and the sound system is playing dub, so it all seems cool.
Hopenhagen is the final destination of the demonstration

December 18, 2009 15:30 - the truck with the sound system is giving out pens and paper to allow people to give notes of solidarity to those still in cyustody.

December 18, 2009 02:00 - The camp at Hopenhagen Live comes to an end. Everything peaceful as activists pack up and head for somewhere warm.

December 17, 2009 20:15 - Around 30 police at the Climate Camp protest at Hopenhagen globe, but situation calm. People chanting "I'm not loving it: Cop15" [see pics | video]

December 17, 2009 20:00 - Around 100 people are protesting underneath the Hopenhagen globe [see pic] setting up four tents and chanting "Copenhagen - No Solution" as well as "Hopenhagen, What the fuck?!" and "Our Climate, Not Your Business".

December 17, 2009 15:40 - A large banner was unfurled in the Radhuspladsen, site of the Hopenhagen music festival, covering some of the Hopenhagen building facade.

Police arrested two activists on the scaffolding and removed the banner within five minutes.

December 17, 2009 01:50 - After being threatened by arrest and eviction and being told that this will lead to the removal of all civil society delegates, the protesters reach consensus to leave and end by calling for mass civil disobedience, and solidarity actions around the country.
