Denne lørdag startede ud med et rigtigt friskt pust over landet: En antiracistisk demo imod den massive hetz mod indvandrere og muslimer. Demoen var egentlig blevet arrangeret, fordi en flok højreekstreme racister fra SIAD (stop islamiseringen af Danmark) havde annonceret en demonstration fra Axeltorv. Selvom de fik kolde fødder i går, gik vi selvfølgelig på gaden alligevel.

Vi mødtes altså på Jarmers Plads halv tolv. På dette tidspunkt var kun en tyve stykker. Jeg tænkte først, at de fleste nok stadig sov fredagsrusen ud og at det derfor ville blive en pinligt lille demo. Men som tiden gik, kom der en del mennesker til og vi endte faktisk med at være omtrent 200. Solen bagte, da vi satte kurs mod Axeltorv. Her var der en lille tale om, hvorfor vi var på gaden og ”en hilsen” til SIAD om at hvis de en dag tør demonstrere for deres perfide holdninger, skal vi nok være der for at forhindre det.
Lidt efter satte vi kurs mod Gammeltorv, hvorfra demoen for flere fristeder skulle gå en time senere. I små grupper kom folk dryssende for at tilslutte sig demoen. Tiden gik hurtigt og så var det op på fødderne igen. Der var virkelig en god stemning. Solen stegte fra en blå himmel og demoen med omkring 400 deltagere, var krydret med folk på gammeldags rulleskøjter, Christianiaflag, båthorn og sæbebobler. Efter at have gået i laaang tid, kom vi ud til Refshalevej for at bade og bygge indtil… vi ikke gider mere. Hvad der kommer ud af det, vil tiden vise.

Jeg opfatter ikke din kommentar som et surt opstød, men som en fatal a-historisk og naiv laissez-faire holdning!
Selvfølgelig har alle har ret til at ytre deres mening. Den organiserede racisme derimod har intet at gøre i det offentlige rum. Den lægger permanent op til hets og diskriminering mod andre etniske grupper, kulturer og tankemåder. Set i en historisk dimension ER racisme som ideologi ingen tankeretning, men en forbrydelse.
Og så har du vist aldrig demonstreret på steder hvor organiserede nazier og racister er stærke og hvor
voldelige overfald fra naziernes og racisters side mod punks, indvandrere eller folk, der ser venstreorienteret ud er HVERDAGSKOST!
Jeg personligt er MEGET voldelig i sådanne situationer, solo og sammen med mine kammerater :-)
Men for at det ikke kommer så vidt, ER det en nødvendighed at forhindre disse forbryderes offentlige optræden og mobiliseringer!
Hvad var/er tidligere KZ-fangers budskab til os: "Aldrig mere fascisme - ingen platform for forbryderne!"
Frihed til at hetse mod andre mennesker?

Du mener, at "nazier og racister også skal have deres ytringsfrihed"...
Jeg kender sådanne tolerante, pacifistiske holdninger fra progressive folk alle mulige steder fra, også udenfor Danmark. Den ytringsfrihed, som de velmenende pacifister har indrømmet for racister og fascister ved enhver lejlighed, har indvandre og venstrefløjen ikke længere i visse områder i de europæiske storbyer, hvor nazistrukturene er blevet stærke!
I indymedia-Italien og indymedia-Tyskland kan man læse næsten dagligt om pogrom-lignende overfald på indvandrere og om angreb mod venstrefløjssteder rundt om i Europa! Men også om venstrefløjens og lokalbefolkningens modige antiracistiske og anti-fascistiske modstand. Dine holdning om fascisternes "ret" til at hetse mod andre mennesker i det offentlig rum, vil ikke blive mødt med særlig forståelse der!
No pasaran!
Folk må lære at hade, og hvis de kan lære at hade, kan de også lære at elske, for kærligheden kommer mere naturligt til mennesket end dens modsætning

Jeg synes bestemt der skal være grænser for hvad man kan tillade sig i det offentlige rum. Og jeg er på ingen måde fortaler for at der skal hetzes mod folkegrupper eller en bestemt politisk orientering! Som sagt støtter jeg PÅ INGEN måde op om hverken facisme eller nazisme...
Men jeg støtter heller ikke op om at måden man vil komme disse ideologier til livs er med vold og trusler om at hvis de ytrer sig så skal vi nok forhindre det. Og slet ikke at man MEGET gerne er voldelig i de situationer. Jeg tror det er mere benzin på bålet.
Jeg tror mere på fred og forsoning! Kald mig pacifist og naiv, hellere det end voldelig...

Jeg synes det er dejligt at folk går på gaden, for at vise at SIAD ikke er den almene holdning i Danmark. Samtidig synes jeg, at det er ærgeligt at skrive, at hvis de en dag demonstrerer, skal vi nok forhindre det... At true andre på grund af deres mening, selvom den er langt ude og snæversynet, er at skyde sig selv i foden. I stedet er det bedre at demonstrere fredeligt og argumentere for tolerance. Trusler avler trusler og vold og det er ikke vejen frem, hvis vi skal kæmpe for mere tolerance... De skal have lov til at vise deres mening, og vi skal have lov til at modbevise den, uden at undertrykke deres ret til at demonstrere.
Dette skal ikke ses som et surt opstød, men bare en kommentar til debat. Jeg støtter på ingen måde op om SIADs holdninger!
