La acción de hoy, Reclama el Poder - Reclama la Energia, mantuvo una Asamblea popular fuera del recinto oficial del COP15 en el Bella Centre, con una llamada a la Justicia Climática. La policia intentó q las manifestaciones no llegaran al COP15, cargando con porras, gas lacrimógeno, y detenciones preventivas (llamada a la acción, comunicado de prensa, video). A pesar de la pretensión democrática del COP15 de incluir a los paises del ´sur global´en el proceso de negociaciones, la policia amenazó con detenciones a delegados y delegadas oficiales de la cumbre, y lxs asaltó con porras cuando intentaron abandonar el centro marchando del centro de convenciones para unirse a la Asamblea de los Pueblos afuera.

La policia ha atacado repetidamente a la gente cargando con sus porras contra la multitud y gaseandoles con gas lacrimógeno. Detuvieron a Medicxs [Fotos] y a activistas durante toda la mañana, lxs medios coporativos anuncian de 200 a 250 detenciones. Continuando con la tónica marcada por la detencion de un protavoz del Climate Justice Action después de una rueda de prensa, otrxs portavoces fueron violentamente detenidos siendo sacadxs por sorpresa por policia secreta en las manifestaciones de hoy. A las 18:00 una rueda de prensa de la red CJA denunciará cómo las detenciones de sus 4 portavoces intentan limitar la libertad de expresión.
Mientras, en el COP15 la organización de Naciones Unidas le denegó la entrada a Amigos de la Tierra, a Avaaz y a Via Campesina aunque habian renovado su acreditación oficial por segunda vez. Lxs delegaxs realizaron una sentada [Fotos, Video] al mismo tiempo q otras 200 delegadxs de ONGs, representantes de organizaciones de pueblos indígenas y del Sur Global abandonaron la Convención en bloque [Fotos 1 | 2 | Videos 1 | 2]. La policia, a base de porrazos y gas lacrimógeno, no les permitió llegar hasta la Asamblea de los Pueblos q acontecia fuera del Centro.. Una hora despues la protesta estalló en el mismísimo pleno del Cop15 al grito de Justicia Climatica YA!! mientras la delegación de la India quemaba su carnets de acreditados oficiales.[vid].
La asamblea de los pueblos tubo lugar al medio dia fuera del Bella Centre [Pics 1], sin la presencia de las personas que estaban dentro, a quienes se les negó este derecho. Después de los discursos, la asamblea decidió moverse hace el centro de la ciudad [vid] lo q aprovechó la policia para realizar detenciones relámpago y continuar obstruyendo el movimiento de la manifestación de manera intermitente.
