Passing by Hopenhagen from the KlimaForum I came across a protest underneath the giant globe with around 100 people putting up tents a la Cop Out Climate Camp.

Chants of "Copenhagen - No solution" and "Hopenhagen, What the fuck?!" were echoing around the square along with Our Climate, Not Your Business".

Camp for Climate Action had said they planned to occupy a vital location in central Copenhagen to hold a ‘Leaving Party’ tonight.

"COP15 will fail, the outcome has already been decided and the people will lose. Big business, as usual, will reap its rewards from the offsetting of emissions and Carbon Trading.

Corporations are not the answer, they are the problem. What happens at a grassroots level after these talks is important."

This is a solidarity action with those in Trafalgar Square in London who began camping out after The Wave demonstration on 5th December.
