DEMO imod stening, dødsstraf, fængsling og tortur i Iran
Onsdag den 30. juli 2008 kl. 17.00 - 18.30 på Rådhuspladsen, København
Otte kvinder og 1 mand i Iran er for nylig blevet dømt til stening pga. forhold uden for ægteskab. De venter på at dommen bliver udført. Det er en umenneskelig dom mod mennesker fra det islamiske regimes side.
I løbet af de 30 år, det islamiske regime har været ved magten i Iran (1979) har stening, dødsstraf fængsling, tortur og undertrykkelse været en del af dagligdagen. Alene i 2007 blev der - ifølge officielle tal - henrettet 355 personer (men de reelle tal er langt højere). I går ( d. 27.7) blev 30 personer hængt. Iran placerer sig som nr. 2 i verden med hensyn til udførte dødsstraffe, efter Kina som ligger nr. 1.
For nylig blev mange studenteraktivister kvindeaktivister, arbejderaktivister lærere og andre grupperinger i samfundet anholdt og sidder nu i fængsel. Mange af dem blev idømt langvarige fængselsdomme, andre dømt til henrettelse.
Nu er det sommer i Iran ligesom det var sommer i 1980`erne hvor titusindvis af politiske fanger i Iran blev massakreret i fængsler (henrettelse og hængning). Regimet fortsætter med disse forbrydelser.
Onsdag den 30. juli kl. 17.00 arrangeres en demonstration på Rådhuspladsen i København. Vi protesterer imod det islamiske regime i Iran. Vi opfordrer alle mennesker i verden til at protestere imod det islamiske regimes forbrydelser og støtte den iranske befolknings kamp for at vælte regimet og for frihed og lighed.
