Mellem 8000 og 10.000 mennesker fra et bredt anti-fascistisk spektrum samt 4000-5000 venstreradikale, autonome antifas demonstrerede i Dresden mod lørdagens nazimarch igennem byen. Anledningen var den massive bombardering af byen i slutfasen af nedkæmpelsen af Nazi-tyskland for 64 år siden, den 13. og 14. februar 1945. Op til 25.000 mennesker mistede dengang livet.

Nazierne kunne ifølge politiets vurderinger mobilisere omkring 6500 deltagere i deres "sørgemarch" til minde for de "hundredetusinder" af borgere i Dresden, som ifølge nazipartiet NPD blev dræbt på disse to dage i februar 1945. På hjemrejsen angreb nazierne en gruppe på 80 fagforeningsfolk, fem af de faglige aktivister blev såret.

Demonstranterne svarer igen mod politiets angreb på antifa-demonstrationen

"Bombe-holocoust"

Sent lørdag eftermiddag afsluttede nazierne deres 'sørgemarch' til minde om de "hundredetusinder af døde under det anglo-amerikanske terrorangreb" (citat fra nazipartiet NPDs pressemeddelelse). NPDs parlamentsmedlem Jürgen Gansel talte i denne sammenhæng om et "bombe-holocoust", der dræbte "250.000 - 300.000 borgere i Dresden".

Bystyret i Dresden har imidlertid nedsat et historikerudvalg, som i en ganske ny undersøgelse dokumenterer, at der i virkeligheden omkom mellem 18.000 og 25.000 mennesker under bombardementerne i februar 1945. Dette foreløbige resultat stemmer ganske godt overens med byforvaltningens egne oplysninger umiddelbart efter bombardementerne. Naziernes propagandaministerium manipulerede med disse tal og hævdede, at antallet af civile omkomne var af en helt anden størrelsesorden - og at op til 350.000 civile var omkommet. Det er disse propagandatal, NPD refererer til i deres forsøg på at omskrive historien ved at fremstille den tyske befolkning som offer og sidestille deres lidelser med tilintetgørelsen af Europas jøder, samt sigøjnerne fra Sinti og Roma.

Nazier fra hele Europa strømmede til Dresden

I 2005 demonstrerede nazierne i Dresden med et lignende antal deltagere. En større andel af demodeltagerne dengang var folk fra Dresden, som tilsyneladende ikke var klar over, at demoen var præget af nazipropaganda. I de følgende år blev nazidemonstrationerne i Dresden reduceret til under tusind deltagere.

Skønt deltagerantallet i lørdags lå under de forventede 8000, som nazier pralede med på internettet, fyldte ligesindede fra Østrig, Schweiz, Spanien, Sverige, Tjekkiet, Slovakiet og andre lande godt i billedet. Også danske nazier skulle have deltaget i marchen. I lørdagens "sørgemarch" gik nazipartiet NPDs topfunktionærer, bla. formanden Udo Voigt, Andreas Mohlau, Udo Pasteurs og Holger Apfel, side om side med kendte militante nazier fra de såkaldte "Freien Kräfte" - et samlingsbegreb for et spektrum, som også indbefatter "Freie Kammeradschaften" med forbindelser til "Autonome Nationalisten". Blandt demonstrationstalerne var en 96-årig bombepilot fra Hitlers Luftwaffe, der er ikon for det tyske nazimiljø. Derudover talte Enrique Valls fra den spanske fascistiske organisation "Alianza Nacional", en slovakisk nazi, samt Matthias Faust fra den tyske, racistiske valgliste Deutsche Volks Union - DVU.

Nazier overfalder journalister og en gruppe fagforeningsfolk

I løbet af nazidemonstrationen forsøgte grupper fra "Junge Landsmannschaft Ostdeutschland e.V." - JLO, demonstrationens officielle anmeldere, at angribe antifa-demonstranter foran Dresdens hovedbanegård. Da det mislykkedes, gik det ud over nogle tilstedeværende journalister, der blev slået med knytnæveslag i hoved og ansigt og hvis fotoapparater blev ødelagt.

Hjemrejsende nazier gik også fysisk til angreb på en gruppe på 80 fagforeningsfolk fra en DGB-rejsegruppe (Deutscher Gewerkschafts Bund, tysk LO). Angrebet fandt sted på en motorvejsrasteplads i Ostthüringen. Ifølge politiet blev fem fagforeningsfolk såret. To måtte en tur på hospital (kilde: Focus Online, den 15.februar 2009).

Nazierne fik forkortet deres demorute

Politiet forkortede nazisternes demonstration pga. af anti-fascisternes massive tilstedeværelse. Politiet stoppede toget med anti-fascister fra Berlin og trak tiden i langdrag med omstændelige legitimationsprocedurer. Dermed kom hele anti-fa demoen for sent igang og nazierne kunne ved hjælp af store politistyrker og en noget kortere rute nå deres endemål.

Den anti-fascistiske alliance "No Pasaran" formåede at mobilisere mindst 4000 venstreradikale og autonome fra forskellige alternative miljøer, fortrinsvis fra de østtyske egne. Initiativtagerne regnede med 2000 deltagere og blev positivt overrasket, da over 4000 sluttede op om den venstreradikale, autonome modstand mod nazierne. Umiddelbart før demonstrationen nåede sit endemål på byens Theaterplatz, angreb politiet demonstrationen og skabte en del heftige konfrontationer. Demoledelsen opløste herpå officielt demonstrationen. Mindst 80 antifa's er blevet anholdt og et ukendt antal såret.

Ialt demonstrerede op til 15.000 mod naziernes "sørgemarch" i Dresden den 14. februar 2009.
