Climate Detention: Activists were right
Storage facilities in Valby arranged as climate detention during COP15. With 'lømmelpakkens' adoption, there may be useful for extension with 500 cell sites.

Police Chief Inspector Per Larsen admitted Wednesday the 25th November, to a former warehouse because of Carlsberg in Valby is currently being constructed as detention for climate activists during COP15 meeting in Copenhagen in December.

According dr.dk will accommodate 500 persons arrested in the former warehouse. The police are doing to establish cages in which detainees should be kept locked up.

She said during the debate in the Folketing, the new legislation is not directed against troublemakers, but citizens residing in the vicinity of the disorder.
- I almost think it is deceptive marketing when you called it lømmelpakken. It looks as though some other people. That this bill do not affect those who generate the city. It affects other people. It is sloppiness and it might be a poorly implemented knivlov, said Karen Haekkerup.

Activist Detention: The police keep cards close to your body
Activists have discovered an empty factory area where they believe that climate activists to be detained during COP15. Copenhagen Police would neither confirm or information.

Activists have website Indymedia.dk spotted an unused factory installations by Vigerslev Station, which they believe will be used as an activist during detention climate summit in December. The reason is owned by Carlsberg and lies idle.

The assumption about police use of the land during the climate summit builds on the activists that they have spoken with craftsmen in the area. They should have said that the buildings be used during the COP15 summit in Copenhagen.
"With its location in Valby halls are available to police anywhere in the city there would be problems," writes the anonymous activists to Indymedia.
Copenhagen Polilti: No confinement in containers
Factory area is filled with containers and activists have therefore suspected that the detained activists should be locked up in them.

Vestre Prison in games
Radio News to Wednesday, 25 November report that the Copenhagen Police will use gymnasiums, garages and double manned cells for detainees and prisoners on remand activists during the summit.
DR did not get the police to show how detainees should be placed, but the prison director Peter Vester unit says that Vestre Prison, among other things will arrange space for 40 people in the prison gymnasium. Others will live in pairs in one-person cells of eight square meters - the one in bed, the other on a mattress on the floor.
