<p>Over half of Sweden&rsquo;s government ministers have shares in investment funds that put money into Sweden-based oil giant Lundin Petroleum.</p>

<p>When BP conducts a controlled burn in the Gulf of Mexico, two shrimp boats drag a boom across the water&rsquo;s surface, collecting floating oil until it&rsquo;s thick enough to set afire. The boom also captures everything else on the surface, including oiled sea turtles, and until yesterday, BP was blithely setting them afire as well.</p>

<p>If you can&rsquo;t give up driving, there are other ways to withhold dollars from BP without giving them to other oil companies. You&rsquo;ve heard some of these before, but others might surprise you. Maybe you already practice some, but this might be the time to add one. Do it for BP.
